Supplier verification
On Sentrick, verification is a listing gate — a defined set of checks a supplier and product must pass before they can appear in the marketplace. It is meant to make the badge meaningful, not decorative. Here is exactly what it does and does not represent.
Evidence & versioning
Certifications, labels, and specifications are attached as versioned evidence bound to a specific product revision and market. Replacing a document creates a new version while the prior one is preserved. If a product changes, its approval does not automatically follow — it must be re-qualified. This keeps the record precise and auditable.
Qualification workflows are enforced server-side against the exact product revision and its evidence.
Supplier qualification checklist
Qualification is document-based. Below is exactly what a supplier submits, depending on whether the company is in the United States or abroad. We only request compliance documents that actually apply to the product.
Business registration, W-9, an authorized contact, products, prices, applicable compliance, U.S. labels, and shipping.
The above plus the documents needed to import — country of origin, conflict-minerals (OECD/3TG) and responsible-sourcing information, hazardous-materials / SDS where applicable, and the importer of record.
Qualification workflows are enforced server-side against the exact product revision and its evidence.
If something about a listing, document, or order looks wrong, our dispute and safety-hold workflows are built to handle it.
