Privacy & Data Policy
Effective: September 25, 2026
1. Scope
This policy describes how Sentrick collects, uses, discloses, and retains personal and business information in operating the Sentrick Metals & Minerals marketplace. Specific rights and obligations depend on applicable law and the location of the individual or business.
2. Categories of data and sources
We process categories including: business identity and account data; contact and role information; qualification, catalog, and transaction data; payment-reference and shipping data; device, log, and security data; and support communications. Sources include information you provide, information generated through your use of the platform, and information from service providers (for example, verification, fraud-prevention, analytics, and payment providers).
3. Purposes
We use information for verification and onboarding, contracting and transactions, fraud prevention and security, compliance and legal obligations, support, analytics, and service improvement. We do not use marketplace data for purposes incompatible with these without a lawful basis.
4. Disclosures and processors
Transaction data is shared only with participating parties and with service providers (processors) acting on our behalf under contract, as reasonably necessary, and where legally required. We do not sell personal information for money, and we limit any "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising to what is disclosed and, where required, consented to. Definitions of "sale" and "share" under applicable law may be broader than ordinary usage, and our practices are described in the Cookie Policy.
5. Retention and security
Access is role-restricted and material actions are audited. We retain each category of data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected and then delete or de-identify it. Retention is determined by criteria including: the life of the account and active business relationship; the period required to complete and support transactions and resolve disputes; tax, accounting, and commercial-record requirements; fraud-prevention, security, and audit needs; and applicable legal-hold or statutory-retention obligations. As a general rule, account and profile data are retained for the life of the account; transaction, order, tax, and commercial records are retained for up to seven (7) years to meet tax, accounting, and legal obligations; and security and audit logs are retained for up to two (2) years, after which data is deleted or de-identified unless a longer period is required by law or an active legal hold. Sensitive credentials and raw payment-card data are not intended for ordinary marketplace storage. In the event of a security incident affecting personal data, we will act in accordance with applicable law, including any required notifications.
6. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict personal data, to data portability, to opt out of targeted advertising or certain "sale"/"sharing," to limit use of sensitive data, and to appeal a decision. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA and Texas residents under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, where applicable. Requests are subject to identity verification and legal retention obligations, and authorized agents may submit requests where permitted.
7. Sensitive data, minors, and transfers
The platform is intended for businesses and users who are adults; it is not directed to children. We collect sensitive personal data only where necessary and handle it as applicable law requires. Where data is transferred across borders, we use appropriate safeguards.
8. Data controller, contact, and appeals
The business responsible for personal data processed through the platform is Anima Technology : Sensor & Tracking Solutions LLC, located in Houston, Texas, United States. Privacy requests and questions may be submitted to privacy@sentrickmetalsandminerals.com, or through the contact page on the site. We verify requests before acting on them. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to that email with the word "Appeal," and we will review and respond within the time required by applicable law, and we will respond within the period required by applicable law.
9. Changes
We may update this policy; material changes take effect on posting or as stated.
